When I first saw Rosalie’s quilt tops I immediately noticed the quality of her work. The piecing was beautiful, there were no wonky borders and the pressing was top notch. I knew I was going to enjoy working on them.
She chose Bumpity for her beautiful flannel quilt. I used a soft grey that worked so well within all the blocks.
For her larger quilt she picked Yo Yo and I used Glide’s mocha thread.

I made these three lap quilts for 3 amazing ladies that I used to work with. First there was the Little Black Dress quilt that I used ‘Tickle Too’ to quilt it.
Next is Scrumptious that I quilted with ‘Clematis’
And finally the third quilt that I also used ‘Tickle Too’
This is a “boys” version of the High Tea quilt pattern. I used a modern edge to edge design called Bauhaus. It really complements the Zen Chic Barcelona fabric.
Batik Beauty 109″ x 109″
I donated this kingsize Batik quilt to be used at a silent auction fundraiser for The Bockman Foundation. It is a non-profit charity that helps people with spinal cord injuries. I got a email informing me that the quilt sold for $600. I then found out that the people who bought the quilt re-donated it to another silent auction fundraiser for a family with 3 kids that just lost their father. I couldn’t be happier. I hope that my quilt brings at least another $600 for that family.
I just did a free hand edge to edge swirl design in the body and some custom quilting in the set in triangles and border.
